Syn.: hydroa aestivale, hydroa puerorum, recurrent summer eruption. This is a recurrent inflammatory affection of the skin excited by extremes of temperature and characterized by the appearance upon the exposed parts of a vesicular eruption which upon disappearing leaves scars.
