(1734-1797), brother of R. H. Lee and A. Lee, was a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses from 1765 to 1772. He was a delegate to the Continental Congress from 1775 to 1779. He signed the Declaration of Independence, and aided in drafting the Articles of Confederation.
